Italian Bond Yields Rise Amid Growing U.S.-Turkey Tensions

Corporate Bond ETF Continues its Climb

While the Turkish lira is languishing, the iShares Intermediate Credit Bond ETF (NASDAQ: CIU) edged higher today, gaining 0.16%–since July 23, the ETF has gained 0.37%. CIU has generated 1.83% in the last three years according to Yahoo! Finance performance figures.

CIU tracks the investment results of the Bloomberg Barclays U.S. Intermediate Credit Bond Index. CIU focuses on investment-grade corporate debt and sovereign, supranational, local authority and non-U.S. agency bonds that are U.S. dollar-denominated and have a remaining maturity of greater than one year and less than or equal to ten years.
