Exchange 2025 Agenda Preview

The Exchange Advisor Council continues to meet and plan the shape of Exchange 2025. One topic that is top of mind for many is the agenda.

The agenda has long been a strength of Exchange. The financial advisor conference brings together the experts and thought leaders that define the financial services industry. Therefore, the conference is built with an eye toward giving advisors actionable information that can be used to improve portfolios or enhance their practice management.

Putting Together the Agenda for 2025

Exchange has teased some about its agenda, with recent announcements that Ian Bremmer would be returning. Therefore, Bremmer will bring his geopolitical expertise to the stage as a keynote speaker. When Exchange happens next year, the U.S. will have a different president than it does now. As such, Experts like Bremmer will be useful for advisors trying to make sense of how the broader political landscape might impact the markets. This clarity can inform decisions, for example.

As panels are curated, the agenda will be built off of what advisors have indicated they are most interested in. Accordingly, survey results have provided useful data.

What Advisors Want

According to surveys, advisors are primarily interested in practice management. Secondly, they are interested in portfolio strategies. Another point of interest is market outlooks. The metrics being used to curate panel topics are as follows:

  • Practice management will get roughly 35% of the content focus. This will include tools for advisors and workshops. Accordingly, these sessions will focus on things like how to more efficiently manage a practice and scale growth.
  • Portfolio strategies will have roughly 30% of the content focus. Thought leaders and financial experts will unpack the latest strategies and tools available to create effective portfolios and help your clients achieve their goals.
  • Market outlooks will hold 20% of the content focus. Understanding how to read the tea leaves and what to prepare for is essential, and advisors will be able to hear from industry veterans who possess a deep understanding of the market.
  • The remaining 15% of content will be finance-adjacent. This includes topics and ideas that don’t neatly fit into one of the other three categories. However, these topics provide tremendous value for advisors. Similarly, at previous Exchanges, speakers like Rodney Mullen and Michael Strahan have shared valuable insights from lessons they have learned outside of the sphere of finance.
