Thomas Quealy

Tom is a member of Nottingham's Investment Policy Committee, where he contributes to the formulation of the firm's overall investment strategy. Additionally, he works closely with many clients to ensure proper portfolio strategy in order to fulfill their investment objectives. Tom joined Nottingham in 1989 and he plays a leading role in directing the firm's overall growth strategy. Tom has 26 years of experience at Nottingham.

Tom holds a degree in Economics with a minor in International Business from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is currently on the Board of the Buffalo Renaissance Foundation.

Lawrence V. Whistler

Lawrence Whistler

Larry is the head of Nottingham's Investment Policy Committee (IPC), where he leads the firm's investment research and portfolio management team. Prior to joining the firm in 2006, Larry was a partner with O'Bannon, Davis & Whistler, an independent registered investment advisor, and before that spent 10 years as a bond trader with Merrill Lynch in New York City and Los Angeles. Larry has 24 years of experience.

Larry holds a degree from the College of William & Mary and an MBA from Emory University. He earned the CFA charter in 2003 and is a former President of the CFA Society of Buffalo. Larry is currently Treasurer of the CFA Society of Buffalo and on the Board of Kaleida Health Foundation. Larry is a 2005 graduate of the Leadership Buffalo Class Experience Program.

Nick Verbanic
Vice President/Portfolio Manager

Nick Verbanic

Nick is a member of Nottingham’s Investment Policy Committee and he has multiple roles in the firm including new client development, client service, and marketing. He focuses on helping clients determine and implement their personalized investment objectives. Through his client service and business development responsibilities, he also educates on market trends and portfolio strategy. Nick joined the firm in 1990 and has 25 years of experience.

Nick holds a degree in Economics from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He currently serves on the Board of the Buffalo area Salvation Army.

Matthew J. Krajna
Portfolio Manager

Matt Krajna

Matt is a member of Nottingham’s Investment Policy Committee. He joined the firm in 2012 and is responsible for conducting investment research and contributing to the firm’s overall investment strategy. Additionally, Matt is also actively involved in the firm’s trading process. Matt has 5 years of experience. Matt graduated with All-College Honors from Canisius College. He holds degrees in Accounting, Finance, and Accounting Information Systems. Matt also received an MBA from Canisius College. Matt earned his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2015.
