Dividend ETFs: Capitalizing on a Trump Bump?

The promise of large distributions from technology companies has lured greater investment interest for dividend ETFs. In the third quarter, Bloomberg projects tech companies could distribute about $20 billion in dividends to shareholders, followed by financials with $17 billion, health care at $14 billion and consumer staples at $13 billion.

“Investors are moving money into dividend funds that stand to gain from cash repatriation,” Todd Rosenbluth, director of ETF and mutual fund research at CFRA Research, told Bloomberg.
