Matt Hougan is managing director and global head of research for Bitwise Asset Management, creator of the world’s first cryptocurrency index fund. He is also chairman of Inside ETFs, producer of the world’s largest ETF conferences. Prior to joining Bitwise, Hougan was CEO of Inside ETFs, and before that, of ETF.com. He helped develop the world’s first ETF ratings system, co-authored the CFA Institute’s Monograph on ETFs and is a three-time member of the Barron’s ETF Roundtable.
