An ETF Based on the American Consumer Satisfaction Index

Each week, ETF Trends publisher Tom Lydon sits down for “ETF of the Week” for MarketWatch on Chuck Jaffe’s MoneyLife Show where he highlights big movers and losers among exchange traded funds.

This week, Lydon looked at the American Customer Satisfaction Core Alpha ETF (ACSI). The ETF is based on the American Consumer Satisfaction Index or ACSI.

The underlying index follows a rules-based methodology – it measures the performance of large-cap U.S. stocks by gathering data from customers and utilizing a proprietary econometric model to determine a customer satisfaction score.
