ETF Trends called Market Vectors after the close of U.S. markets Thursday to discuss the possible removal of Hanergy from KWT, but that call was not immediately returned. Initial press reports detailing Hanergy’s upcoming departure from TAN did not mention similar action for KWT.
Even with the losses incurred earlier this week, TAN and KWT are up 32% and 23.1%, respectively, this year, making them two of the top-performing non-leveraged ETFs for the year.
