Education is key
The old adage “knowledge is power” certainly applies to investing. Once you clear out the clutter and focus on what’s most important, you can take steps to educate yourself on how to pursue your goals, whether it’s building a core portfolio or investing for retirement. Of those surveyed, three in five said they don’t use ETFs because they don’t understand them; two in five said they don’t know how ETFs work; and the same number don’t know which ETFs they should invest in.
