ETF Chart of the Day: Core Bonds

BOND has impressively grown into the fifth largest fund in the Total Bond Market space, nipping at the heels of BIV (Vanguard Intermediate Term Bond, Expense Ratio 0.10%) which has $3.9 billion in AUM. BND (Vanguard Total Bond Market, Expense Ratio 0.08%) and AGG (iShares Core U.S. Aggregate Bond, Expense Ratio 0.08%) are of course the largest ETFs in this segment, with $21.3 and $18 billion in assets under management respectively, but BOND’s pursuit of higher asset levels through impressive performance is certainly worth noting.
