Broad health care ETF investors also have some exposure to the services sub-sector. For instance, the Health Care Select Sector SPDR (NYSEArca: XLV), which tracks healthcare companies taken from the S&P 500 index, includes a 16.1% weight in health care providers and services stocks. XLV is up 8.7% year-to-date.

The Vanguard Health Care ETF (NYSEArca: VHT) includes health care services 4.2%, health care facilities 2.0% and managed health care 6.9%. VHT is up 8.4% year-to-date.
