Investors can also take a look at other fundamental RAFI index-based ETFs, including the PowerShares Fundamental Investment Grade Corprate Bond Portfolio (NYSEArca: PFIG) and the PowerShares Fundamental Emerging Markets Local Debt Portfolio (NYSEArca: PFEM).

PFIG has a 0.22% expense ratio, a 4.73 year effective duration and a 2.49% 30-day SEC yield. The fund is down 3.5% year-to-date.

PFEM has a 0.50% expense ratio, a 5.08 year effective duration and a 5.28% 30-day SEC yield. The fund started trading May 9 and is down 8.1% over the past three months.

Additionally, the SPDR Barclays Issuer Scored Corporate Bond ETF (NYSEARca: CBND) weights issuers by financial factors like return on assets, interest coverage and current ratio. CBND has a 0.16% expense ratio, a 6.34 duration and a 3.46% 30-day SEC yield. The fund is down 3.6% year-to-date.
