The latest downgrades by ratings agencies to several European countries have also caused investors to look at precious metals shares and ETFs such as the iShares Silver Trust (NYSEArca: SLV), PowerShares DB Silver Fund (NYSEArca: DBS) and ETFS Physical Silver Shares (NYSEArca: SIVR).
