Exchange traded funds (ETFs) that invest in silver and silver miners fell sharply Monday. Still, the $15 billion iShares Silver Trust (NYSEArca: SLV) remains up 30% year to date.
ProShares Ultra Silver (NYSEArca: AGQ) has gained more than 60% so far this year according to Morningstar, although the ETF is designed for traders.
However, silver ETFs started the week with losses. Global X Silver Miners ETF (NYSEArca: SIL) lost nearly 5% on Monday.
