After All Is Said And Done, the Industry Lost One ETF in February | ETF Trends

So far, the markets and exchange traded funds (ETFs) have gotten off to a slow start in 2008. Ten new ETFs were added to the market in February. However, 11 were liquidated, bringing the total number of funds to 633.

The assets are down, too. U.S. ETF industry assets fell last month to $557 billion – a drop of $12.9 billion. The drop is largely because of continuing weakness in global equity markets.
