ETFs-They've Only Just Begun | ETF Trends

Exchange traded funds (ETFs) are here to stay, and their growth has only just begun. The number of funds available on U.S. exchanges is over 500, and there are plenty more areas of the market to tap into yet. A broader array of fixed-income is to be expected, along with different asset classes. Daisy Maxey for The Wall Street Journal reports if you think you’ve seen all the niche and specialty products out there, think again. The enhanced ETF products will continue to be an area of growth. Only two providers have touched on fixed-income ETFs – Barclays and Vanguard. This area will expand as well as commodities, currencies and asset classes.
