ETF Trends publisher Tom Lydon discussed VanEck Vectors Poland ETF (PLND) on this week’s “ETF of the Week” podcast with Chuck Jaffe on the MoneyLife Show.

Poland’s economy expanded at an annual rate of 4% for the first quarter, versus 2.5% for the previous quarter. The Polish economy continued to grow at an annual rate of almost 4% in the second quarter, supported by consumer and industrial data.

PLND is comprised of companies incorporated in Poland or generate at least 50% of revenue in Poland.

Its sector weights are financials 40.4%, energy 15.9%, materials 10%, consumer discretionary 10%, utilities 7.3%, consumer staples 5.8%, information technology 5.2%, real estate 3.1%, and telecom 2.1%.
