As the ETF industry grows and matures, investors can now incorporate various ETF strategies to gain a targeted approach to global markets and to achieve their desired investment goals.
“We use data and automation to build investing models,” Hardeep Walia, Founder & CEO of Motif, said at the Inside ETFs Conference.
“Now, we are using those same techniques to build institutional, what we call institutional products, and we’re thrilled to be partnering with Mike and GSAM to put those products in the market,” he added.
According to Motif, the company looks at data to uncover important trends driving the economy and then creates dynamic portfolios of companies with exposure to these trends so that an investor can easily access these investment trends.
As Motif partners up with Goldman Sachs Asset Management, more advisors and investors will have access to these types of thematic investments.
“We always start with our clients, and I think that’s why we’ve had a good amount of success. It’r really bringing innovative, differentiated products to our clients to solve problems,” Michael Crinieri, Global head of GSAM ETFS at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, said at Inside ETFs.
“We’re really giving advisors and investors the ability to invest in drivers future growth,” he added.
