Zenith’ Wealth Partners’ Jason Ray was interviewed last year at Exchange. He discussed Zenith’s investment philosophy and the Exchange conference.

3 Investment Principles, According to Ray

Ray shared Zenith’s investment philosophy, which centers three principles. “The first is effective risk-return metrics, the second is values-aligned manager selection, then the third is overall asset allocation appropriateness with the client’s objectives.” Because Zenith serves a lot clients, including first time investors, data is also important in their process. Accordingly, they also have access to lots of unique data.

“As we think about our vision of society and mission to deliver relatable advice to people, that data and the insights from that should be shared broadly to really create that vision for society that we’re looking to see in the future,” he said.

Ray on Zenith’s Values

Zenith’s values are a huge reason why their clients come to them, according to Ray. “Our vision of society at Zenith Wealth Partners is one where race and gender do not predetermine people’s ability to create wealth.” These values have helped Zenith Wealth Partners differentiate themselves and have given Ray and his team a north star to point toward. Accordingly, Zenith serves many first time wealth accumulators.

Finding Zenith at Exchange

Ray shared that his first exposure to the Exchange conference was when his partner and colleague Chelsea Ransom-Cooper attended the conference. Last year, Zenith brough several of their team to the conference. Ray was a member of the Exchange Advisor Council last year and his colleague Andrew Tudor is on the Exchange Advisor Council for this year.

The sessions have been a big draw for Ray, who found a lot of value in a number of the sessions he attended at the conference. In particular, he pointed to a session that GLOBALT’s Bill Roach led: Dr. David Kelly’s standing room only keynote. “I think I’ll come back,” he said.

The Exchange begins March 15. This is the conference’s second year in Las Vegas.
