Mr. Shriber has been involved with financial markets for over a decade and has been writing about ETFs for over seven years. Prior to joining ETF Trends, Mr. Shriber was the chief ETF analyst at Bezinga. His written work has appeared on MarketWatch, Minyanville and Investopedia, among other web sites and major daily newspapers such as the New York Times and Washington Post.

Mr. Shriber got his start in financial markets as reporter with Bloomberg News. After a break from the markets, he became a prop trader in 2007 before moving on to a Southern California hedged fund in 2008. While there, he specialized in trading emerging markets, energy, financial services and materials ETFs as well as inverse and leveraged products. He holds a Series 7 and has been interviewed by several media outlets, including CNBC, on various ETF ideas and issues.

Mr. Shriber graduated from Texas Christian University with a B.S. in broadcast journalism. He lives in Southern California with his wife and black labrador. In his free time, Mr. Shriber enjoys college football, golf and Russian literature.
