Why Not An Ireland ETF For St. Patrick's Day? | ETF Trends

One of the most successful economic turnarounds in the past few decades has been Ireland. Ireland offers a healthy and growing economy with a
pro-business government, and is one of the wealthiest countries in
Europe per capita. Yet, as Roger Nusbaum at TheStreet.com points out, there is no ETF that U.S. investors can easily
access. There is a closed-end fund, The New Ireland Fund (IRL), but isn’t it time for a full fledged ETF?

Sure the debate continues about the pros and cons of a unified Ireland, but you can’t help but be happy for the Irish people. So, in the spirit of St. Patrick, send an e-mail to your favorite ETF providers and suggest they put a little green into the mix. Slainte!
