Matt Raynor, Head of iShares US Wealth Advisory Sales for BlackRock, joined Tom Lydon, ETF Trends publisher, at the Morningstar Investment Conference in Chicago to discuss the basics of sifting through the exchange traded fund space to select an appropriate investment strategy.
“It’s all about the client,” Raynor said. “It stars and ends with the client. All of this stuff is great, fantastic. It’s exciting. It’s fast paced. It’s down to the sliver type of investment we see on a day-to-day basis, but it starts with the core. We have to get the core right.”
BlackRock has revamped its iShares ETF business to offer a suite of so-called Core products as a way to help investors layout the foundation for a diversified investment portfolio.
