The spread between 10-year German bunds and U.S. Treasuries are at their widest in over a quarter of a century. As a result, Wald believes this may signal a top in U.S. rates.

“As the [U.S. Treasury] 10-year gets back to its 200-day moving average at around 2.2 percent, I think it would be a great time to buy some bonds,” Wald added. “That’s the ceiling right there.”
