Senior bank loans as measured by the S&P/LSTA U.S. Leveraged Loan 100 Index struggled through-out the year. Continued active issuance adding to supply and the same energy names as high yield that were affected by the drop in oil price detracted from the performance of this sector. The index ended 2014 returning 1%.
