Surely, the “Low Volatility Equity” category has shown an ability to raise substantial assets relatively quickly, and it also seems to be flourishing in terms of fund offerings and innovation, evidenced by the more than twenty funds (including International Equity strategies) in the space from several vendors in addition to iShares and PowerShares like SPDRs, Compass EMP whom we mentioned earlier this week in this piece, and VelocityShares.
