Lydon Explores Hedge Fund ETF Favorites on Yahoo Finance

ETF Trends Publisher Tom Lydon joined Yahoo Finance’s Jeff Macke to discuss increased ETF usage by some of the world’s largest hedge funds.

Hedge funds are increasingly using ETFs “the liquidity is fantastic. You can go in with… tens of millions – in some cases billions – of dollars into ETFs and spreads are very, very tight,” Lydon told Macke.

The Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets ETF (NYSEArca: VWO), SPDR Gold Shares (NYSEArca: GLD) and the iShares Russell 3000 ETF (NYSEArca: IWV) are among the ETFs most widely held by hedge funds.
