Lee Sterne, ETF strategist at Fidelity Investments’ fixed income division, joined ETF Trends Publisher Tom Lydon at the Morningstar ETF Conference in Chicago to discuss Fidelity’s growth in the ETF business and its plans for future active bond ETF offerings.

Last year, Fidelity rolled out 10 sector ETFs, which are the lowest cost funds in that product category. It took that suite just six months to race to a combined $1 billion in assets under management.

In October, Fidelity launched three actively managed bond ETFs, the firm’s first foray into actively managed ETFs.
