ETFs that track S&P Emerging Markets BMI indices include the SPDR S&P Emerging Markets ETF (NYSEArca: GMM), PowerShares S&P Emerging Markets High Beta Portfolio (NYSEArca: EEHB) and the PowerShares S&P Emerging Markets Low Volatility Portfolio (NYSEArca: EELV).
S&P also confirmed that “Greece’s constituents have been removed from all S&P Developed BMI market indices and will now be part of the S&P Emerging BMI series.”
The index provider joined rivals MSCI and Russell Investments in demoting Greece to emerging markets status from the developed market classification last year. [Greece Demoted Again]
