Although Chile is home to one of Latin America’s most transparent and vibrant banking systems, a more flexible financial services sector could be a boon for ECH. Despite Chile’s status as the world’s largest copper exporter, ECH is not dominated by the materials sector.
Rather, the $320.4 million ETF allocates 26.2% of its weight to the utilities sector and 18.5% to financials. That compares with 12.9% to materials stocks.
