Led by Apple, technology was once again the top sector in the S&P 500 for share repurchases in the second quarter. Apple, IBM (NYSE: IBM), Intel (NasdaqGS: INTC), Oracle (NYSE: ORCL) and Cisco Systems (NasdaqGS: CSCO) were five of the top 12 S&P 500 shares repurchasers during the second quarter.
