The fund also has stakes in ETFs following stocks in Indonesia, Poland, South Africa, Turkey, Taiwan and India, Bloomberg reported.
Other state pension plans have large positions in emerging markets ETFs as well.
In March, it was reported that Tennessee is the top holder or second-largest investor in 12 emerging market exchange traded fund.
At that time, the Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System was one of the largest holders of the iShares MSCI Chile Capped ETF (NYSEArca: ECH), iShares MSCI Indonesia ETF (NYSEArca: EIDO), iShares MSCI Malaysia ETF (NYSEArca: EWM) and iShares MSCI Poland Capped ETF (NYSEArca: EPOL), among other emerging markets ETFs.
