Compared to the S&P 500, “ITOT has slightly higher exposure to Financials (17% vs. 16%) and slightly less exposure to Consumer Staples (9% vs. 10%) with most other sector disparities less than 50 basis points,” said S&P Capital IQ.

ITOT’s largest sector weight is technology at 18.5%. Other double-digit sector allocations include health care, consumer discretionary and industrials, which combine for almost 37% of the ETF’s weight.

“In addition to its modest expense ratio, S&P Capital IQ views favorably the tight $0.03 bid/ask spread on ITOT shares. On average, 100,000 shares have traded daily over the past six months as the asset base has nearly doubled to $1.2 billion since mid-2013,” said S&P Capital IQ.
