Given the popularity and liquidity that we have witnessed in UUP options over the past five years or so, it is surprising to us that the directional/leveraged plays UUPT (PowerShares DB 3X Long U.S. Dollar Index Futures ETN, Expense Ratio 0.95%) and UDNT (PowerShares DB 3X Long U.S. Dollar Index Futures ETN, Expense Ratio 0.95%) still remain small in terms of fund sizes (only about $5 million in assets under management and typically low daily trading volume).
