The exchange traded fund market is quickly expanding and has become a trillion dollar industry. Nevertheless, money managers and financial advisors have not stopped trying to find the next exciting idea or seek out innovative strategies.
ETF Trends’ Tom Lydon sat down with Ben Fulton, President and CEO of Elkhorn Investments, to discuss innovation in the ETF space and how advisors are utilizing products in customized portfolios.
“I think really the innovation I’m seeing now and what I’m really excited about, where I’m spending a lot of time after 10 years of spending on the other side, is how to use ETFs in other product structures,” Fulton said.
For instance, Fulton explains how advisors and investors may be interested in a low-volatility strategy but still want to capture the potential upside in a market rally, or try to limit downside risk in a high-beta investment.
