Elon Musk’s “other” company, SolarCity (NasdaqGM: SCTY) has more than doubled in the past 90 days and more than tripled in the past six months. The stock is a top-10 holding in TAN with a weight of 4.7%, but absent from KWT.
That does not mean SolarCity will never be included in KWT. The ETF’s index has its periodic review coming up on Aug. 30, 2013 and any changes to the index will be announced two weeks later with implementation taking place on Sept. 20, 2013, according to Market Vectors.
