Vanguard International Bond ETF

Vanguard plans to launch its first diversified international fixed-income ETF next week.

Vanguard Total International Bond Index (NYSEArca: BNDX) is expected to begin trading on Tuesday, the asset manager said.

The firm on Friday introduced Vanguard Total International Bond Index Fund, a mutual fund.

The new fund’s investor shares require a minimum initial investment of $3,000 and will charge an estimated expense ratio of 0.23%.

So-called Admiral shares require a $10,000 minimum and will levy fees of 0.20%. Institutional shares with a $5 million minimum investment will carry an expense ratio of 0.12%.
