Globally, there were 4,713 ETFs and ETPs available at the end of August.
In the U.S., total U.S.-listed ETP assets increased to $1.23 billion by the end of August, up 2.1% from July and 16.3% higher year-over-year.
U.S.-listed fixed-income ETPs brought in $3.7 billion over August and commodity ETPs added $2.2 billion. Meanwhile, U.S.-listed equity ETPs lost almost $2.0 billion in assets.
The average daily U.S.-listed ETP trading volume decreased 13.0% to $45 billion in August from $52 billion in July.
At the end of last month, there were 1,474 U.S.-listed ETFs and ETPs available.
