SLV is by far the largest and most popular way to play silver in the ETF space, having amassed nearly $10 billion in assets under management, but other products to consider are SIVR (ETFS Silver Trust), DBS (PowerShares DB Silver) and USV (UBS E-TRACS CMCI Silver Total Return ETN).
For those looking to use leverage in short term directional trading strategies and/or hedges, AGQ (ProShares Ultra Silver) and USLV (VelocityShares 3X Long Silver ETN) are available on the “long” side, and ZSL (ProShares UltraShort Silver) and DSLV (VelocityShares 3X Inverse Silver ETN) offer short/inverse exposure to the price of the metal.
