An afternoon rally in silver prices propelled silver exchange traded funds into the green as the dollar faded.
The iShares Silver Trust (NYSEArca: SLV) was up 0.5% in recent trading to $34.52 a share. The ETF had dropped as low as $32 earlier in the session.
Meanwhile, PowerShares DB US Dollar Bullish Fund (NYSEArca: UUP) was down by a similar percentage as morning gains disappeared.
