Add another name to the growing list of exchange traded fund (ETF) hopefuls: Neuberger Berman is planning to launch actively managed funds.

The company is only the latest one to express an interest in offering actively managed ETFs by filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Other companies that have already filed include JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, The Hartford, Janus and Alliance Bernstein.
