Investors these days have a right to be impatient. The last decade has given them few opportunities to really perform, and there’s more pressure for advisors to take advantage of short-term market opportunities. The internet can also be partially blamed for the “now, now, now” culture we live in: the flow of information is so quick and clients have instant access to their portfolios.
While clients like to participate in market opportunities, it’s a challenge for advisors who may not be as active.
