And A New ETF Provider Enters The Field | ETF Trends

After acquiring a majority stake in Paris-based specialist exchange traded fund (ETF) manager Ossiam, Natixis Global Asset Management is planning its entry into the world of ETFs.

Ossiam was formed last year and the company is planning a family of ETFs that utilize quantitative and fundamental data, reports Joe Morris for Ignites.

Pierre Servant, chief executive of Natixis Global Asset Management, stated that the first ETFs will come online next year in Europe, and the company intends to export the ETFs to the U.S after establishing an investor base in Europe.

Ossiam chief Bruno Poulin hinted that the funds would be more niche focused, remarking that more sophisticated investors want more specific investment tools.
