11 New Global ETFs Proposed By Russell | ETF Trends

Russell Investments, the index and financial analytics provider, is now planning to launch 11 new exchange traded funds (ETFs) of its own. The new funds will have a global perspective.

According to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing, the featured funds will be based on the Russell Global 1000, 2000 and 3000.

Oliver Ludwig for Index Universe reports that the  ETFs are:

  • The Russell Global 1000 ETF
  • Russell Global 1000 Growth ETF
  • Russell Global 1000 Value ETF
  • Russell Global 2000 ETF
  • Russell Global 2000 Growth ETF
  • Russell Global 2000 Value ETF
  • Russell Global 3000 ETF
  • Russell Global 3000 Growth ETF
  • Russell Global 3000 Value

According to Russell, the proposed funds will all use representative sampling strategies, which means they may not own all the securities in the relevant underlying indexes. The ticker symbols and expense ratios for the funds are not yet known.
