The American Stock Exchange announced they have launched trading in the Greenhaven Continuous Commodity Index Fund (GCC), as the company enters into the exchange traded fund (ETF) community. GCC tracks the performance of the Continuous Commodity Return Total Return Index, an equal-weighted basket of 17 commodities.

CNN Money says the 17 commodities include corn, wheat, soybeans, live cattle, lean hogs, gold, platinum, silver, copper, coffee, sugar, cotton, orange juice, crude oil, heating oil and natural gas. Reuters America LLC owns and calculates the index.
