One of PowerShares’ latest exchange traded fund (ETF) filings that is set to launch in October is the PowerShares Emerging Markets Sovereign Debt Portfolio. This ETF is based on the soon-to-be-launched DB Emerging Markets USD Liquid Balanced Index. The index will track the performance of a select basket of liquid, emerging-market U.S. dollar-denominated government bonds. With the launch of this ETF along with 14 others, PowerShares will expand its lineup into the international, fixed-income market.
