U.S.-listed exchange traded funds (ETFs) held steady in June at $485.88 billion compared to $485.51 billion in May. The total number of ETFs went from 507 in May to 526 in June. John Spence for MarketWatch reports that according to the Investment Company Institute, the total value of all ETF shares issued exceeded that of shares redeemed by $5.26 billion. As of June 31, ETF assets have risen by about 41% for the year.
