The combined assets of U.S. exchange traded funds (ETFs) grew from $18.97 billion to $485.51 billion in May, according to the Investment Company Institute (ICI). An increase of 4.1% since April is a good indicator of the ETF industry’s success. Compared to year-over-year numbers, growth is at 44.8% or $150.27 billion. This year, ETFs have a net issuance of $26.44 billion, ETF Guide reports. The ETF industry is going strong, and its success will likely continue to grow.
