ETF Flows Into U.S. Equity | ETF Trends

During the past week, U.S. equity exchange traded funds (ETFs) issued $865 million, or $173 million daily. It is too early to tell whether investors are returning to the U.S. stock market although there has been a stream of big inflows this year. If they are back, it would be a reversal from the past year. According to TrimTabs from Forbes, global equity ETFs redeemed $200 million, the first weekly outflow in 11 weeks. U.S. equity funds and U.S. ETFs posted a combined inflow of $5 billion during 3 of the past 12 months.
