Bogle's New Book Critisizes ETFs | ETF Trends

John Bogle, the "living legend" of the mutual fund world, has further stood his ground in the publication of his sixth book. "The Little Book Of Common Sense Investing" devotes an entire chapter to exchange traded funds (ETFs). Rob Wherry of SmartMoney.com states that some of the books sharpest venom comes from this chapter. He re-iterates that investors have begun performance chasing and that all but the broad-based ETFs are "disasters waiting to happen." This new book arrives in a timely manner for the indexing business. It will be on wide release this Monday.
