TD Ameritrade Joining ETF Market? | ETF Trends

In an effort to capitalize on the growing demand for exchange traded funds (ETFs), the brokerage firms are catching on . The online broker TD Ameritrade Holding Corp.’s chief executive Joe Moglia said the firm wants to grow its presence in the ETF field, but the company faces a long road ahead of educating the investors on the financial products. John Spence of MarketWatch.com reports the company, who recently acquired T.D. Waterhouse U.S.A., has filed to launch their own ETFs, in addition to helping investor’s build their portfolios using the funds.
