Emerging Markets ETFs Re-emerge | ETF Trends

Emerging markets exchange traded funds (ETFs) are beginning to re-emerge. Standard and Poor’s estimates emerging markets stocks gained 7.96% in November and will likely continue the upward trend. Among these ETFs, one of the top performers has been BLDRS Emerging Markets 50 ADR Index Fund (ADRE), which is comprised of a basket of emerging index stocks, writes Christina Wise in Investor’s Business Daily.

ADRE holdings include wireless phone providers and software companies.  The Mexico-based wireless phone provider, America Movil, and China Mobile, are two of the companies performing well and helping with ADRE’s performance.  ADRE is up 30% for the year.
